Despite inclement weather and Storm Floris causing havoc across the North-east, the Turriff Show managed to jam-pack the action into the first day before closing early on the Monday due to high winds. I was delighted to catch up with local businesses including Summerhouse Drinks and Rora Dairy, the charity St Andrew’s First Aid and the North Aberdeenshire Citizens Advice Bureau. In the morning of the second day I was pleased to be asked to speak at the NFUS meeting with President Andrew Connon and my cross-party colleague, Lib Dem MP Alistair Carmichael.
