Good news for those living close by the Fraserburgh gap site near Cross Street.
Local residents had contacted me with their concerns at the unsightly nature of the derelict site in the town, which had been the site of a former garage. At that time, I contacted the Chief Executive of Grampian Housing Association and was advised that work to erect hoardings around the site would commence soon.
I’m very pleased to say that the hoardings have now been erected, and that Grampian Housing Association have acted so quickly following my approach to reduce the visual impact of this piece of land, something which myself and local councillors have wanted for some time.
Of course, ideally, the site should be developed and I trust that work in this regard can be forthcoming shortly.
