Congratulations to PACT for winning the Most Enterprising Community 2025 Award with Scotland Loves Local!
Scotland Loves Local has chosen PACT as recipients of this award for their work on revitalising Victoria Park into “a welcoming, accessible and inclusive environment for the local community”. The Trust recently delivered the flood-lit pump track to the new multi-use games area at Peterhead’s Victoria Community Park as part of their wider commitment to improving public participation in sport, to foster community cohesion, health and confidence with accessible opportunities for local residents.
I’m very pleased to lodge an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons to celebrate Peterhead Area Community Trust’s new award. As the local MP, it’s so important for me to mark a significant achievement for such a dynamic community group in Parliament.
This Early Day Motion celebrates the hard work and dedication of the PACT team and recognises their success in delivering on their aims to make Peterhead a better place to live, work in and visit.
They really deserve this award as Most Enterprising Community 2025, and I congratulate them for their positive, community-led approach which focuses on local priorities for the good of the people of Peterhead.
I wish them well for the future and look forward to hearing more about their next project.
